Nursing Services

There are a range of clinical assessments that may be completed by our Home Care Nurses. These may be a one-off, comprehensive clinical assessment, to focussed assessments that target a certain area. In speaking with Crisden Care, we will work with you to identify the most appropriate approach to ensure you get what you need.  

Whether it be a trip or fall that requires short term wound care, to a chronic wound that requires ongoing clinical oversight and management, Crisden Care's Registered Home Care Nurses can assist. 

Whether you have previously received clinical services by a Crisden Care Nurse or not, we can meet you where you are at. Whether it be a periodic clinical review to track how you are going, or oversight with medication management and compliance, Crisden Care's Nurses have the skills and knowledge to support you appropriately in your own home. 

All assessments completed are using contemporary, validated assessment tools, which can be shared with other Health Professionals as required and appropriate, and with consent. Crisden Care can do this for you, with your written permission. 

Any nursing services are completed with the skills and knowledge of the most appropriate regime by the Registered Nurse. Their expertise in this area is regularly updated through education on contemporary practice, including areas such as methods of work, anti-microbial stewardship and clinical governance. 

All Nursing staff are registered with AHPRA and are required to have their certification current at all times. Crisden Care reviews registrations and only employs Nursing staff that hold no conditions or limitations to their ability to practice. Nursing staff complete required levels of education on an annual basis to support their registration.
